Community Access to Child Health
CATCH Call for Proposals Opens November 1, 2022
The Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) Program is a national initiative of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) that supports pediatricians to lead innovative, community-based initiatives that increase children’s access to optimal health or well-being. The next Call for Proposals for funding through the CATCH program opened on November 1, 2022, with applications due on January 23, 2023. CATCH grants are open to AAP member pediatricians and resident trainees in US and Canadian AAP chapters. Further information can be found at www.aap.org/catch and all applicants are strongly encouraged to seek technical assistance by contacting their Chapter CATCH Facilitator, District Resident Liaison, or CATCH staff.
New CATCH Facilitators Needed: Drs. Francie Chalmers and Brad Hood have served as the Washington Chapter’s CATCH Facilitators for the past several years – we thank them for their service, but they are ready to pass the reins to new CATCH Facilitators. Please let us know if you are interested in learning more about being a CATCH Facilitator! Email Jennifer Donahue at jdonahue@wcaap.org.
