April 30-June 11: Rapid Behavioral Health Education
April 30, 2020 @ 7:30 am - 8:30 am
FreeAs primary care has shifted to a telemedicine format during the COVID-19 pandemic, WCAAP is offering primary care providers who care for children education in effective behavioral health interventions via telemedicine, tailored to the unique and challenging contexts children and families are experiencing right now.
WCAAP members Dr. Larry Wissow, head of child and adolescent psychiatry for Seattle Children’s Hospital/UW and Dr. Francie Chalmers, pediatrician, Skagit Pediatrics, have teamed up with Dr. Robert Hilt and the Partnership Access Line to author the curriculum and provide learning facilitation.
Format: As a participant, every two weeks you will watch two 15-minute training videos, at a time convenient to you, on specific clinical content and then join a live facilitated 60-minute discussion sharing what you have learned with other participants, case examples and what help or additional supports you need.
Thursday, April 30, 7:30 – 8:30 AM: Introduction to the trainings
