Equitable Care: Reproductive Justice
Join WCAAP’s Equitable Care Committee for our last webinar of the year! We are excited to be joined by Dr. Aisha Mays, who will speak about reproductive justice and how all clinicians who care for kids can better approach adolescent reproductive health.

Dr. Aisha Mays is a Family Physician who focuses on Adolescent Medicine. She is the Founder and Medical Director of the Dream Youth Clinics of Roots Community Health Center in Oakland, CA and a Clinical Researcher with the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health. Dr. Mays is an innovative adolescent healthcare leader and has special clinical, teaching, and research expertise on youth affected by sex trafficking. Her interests also focus on providing quality adolescent family planning within a reproductive justice framework and on elevating the expertise of young people who choose to parent as a way to shift the national paradigm on young motherhood. Dr. Mays believes that passion, creativity, critical inquiry and building community are keys to dismantling inequitable systems and constructing a new vision for the future of health care.
Our thanks to Amerigroup and Community Health Plan of Washington for supporting WCAAP’s Equitable Care Webinar Series.
