Please join WCAAP and our Equitable Care Committee for our first webinar of 2023! Speakers Dr. Amanda Lee, Dr. CJ Koozer and Jerry Yang will discuss the implications of pediatric clinics and hospitals on access to care and health equity.

Jerry Yang
Vice President of Intergration, MultiCare
Jerry Yang is VP of Integration at MultiCare Health System, a 12-hospital platform with $4.6B in annual net revenue, covering the PNW with headquarter based in Tacoma, Washington. Jerry’s career has spanned between for-profit and not-for-profit health systems and between rural, sole community hospital markets to highly competitive urban markets. He specialized in developing new services in existing markets and creating innovative partnerships to grow vertical and horizontally into new markets. He joined MultiCare Health System as Chief Financial Officer of Operations, but before joining MultiCare, Jerry served as the Market CFO for Beaumont Health based in metro Detroit, and, before that, he was the Associate CFO of Hillcrest Health System based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jerry received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for UW -Tacoma School of Urban Studies, and Board Member, and Treasurer for Symphony Tacoma.
Amanda Lee, DO, FAAP
Pediatrician
Amanda Lee, DO, FAAP has a passion for working with underserved and medically complex children, adolescents and immigrant families. Specific areas of interest include community health, understanding and addressing adverse childhood experiences to prevent poor health outcomes, and child health advocacy. Dr Lee enjoys forming partnerships with youth and families that improve health and wellness. Dr. Lee earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations and languages from American University and her master’s degree in medical sciences from Drexel University. Dr. Lee loves teaching resident physicians, medical and nursing students. Dr. Lee grew up in Venezuela and is both bilingual and bicultural. She spent eight years working in the Yakima Valley with immigrant, farm worker, and Yakama Nation families. Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
