Great MINDS is a project of Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in collaboration with the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. You can better serve the children in your practice and become familiar with developmental screening and the referral process by signing up for a Great MINDS training! Training conducted by an experienced physician includes:
- Why use a screening tool?
- How do I integrate use of a screening tool into my practice?
- How do I bill for screening?
- Results, resources, and referrals.
Adolescent and Maternal Depression Screening Training is a free 90 minute training to support pediatric health care providers to provide Adolescent and Maternal Depression Screenings in their practices. Training by an experienced physician incluees:
- Adolescent and maternal depression and suicidality
- Screening process considerations
- Care steps you can recommend
- Engaging families in care
