March 24: March for Our Lives – Seattle

As pediatric health care providers, we know that gun violence is a public health emergency and should be treated as such. The courageous students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are channeling their grief and anger into action, and students across the country are joining them by engaging peaceful protest on March 24th in the March For Our Lives.

Pediatricians, physicians and health care providers can support and defend these young people – our patients – by participating in the Seattle march. Please gather with WCAAP leaders and members in front of Elliott Bay Books on Seattle’s Capitol Hill at 9:30AM (across the street from Cal Anderson Park, where the march will begin), and wear a white coat to identify as a health care provider.
