Dr. Lily Lo currently serves as Secretary of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She practices at Northwest Pediatric Center in Centralia, Chehalis, and Rochester, where she has been since 2000.
Prior to moving to Washington, Dr. Lo was in private practice in Sheridan, Wyoming, where she founded and coached Sheridan’s first girls fast-pitch team, created Healthy Communities Healthy Youth of Sheridan County (a non-profit organization affiliated with the America’s Promise campaign), and served as a county delegate to the Governor’s Summit on Wyoming’s Future. She worked extensively with troubled teens and was appointed Attending Physician for the State of Wyoming Girls School.
Central to Dr. Lo’s life is her faith. Since 2005, she has served as Worship Pastor at Wellspring Church in Chehalis, and in January 2011, she became the Worship Leader for Gather, a new church in Centralia. A seasoned world traveler, Dr. Lo has done medical missions work in Nepal, Tibet, China, Ethiopia, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and India. She also serves on the active roster of Medical Teams International’s Disaster Response Team.
She is passionate about the outdoors and when not in the office, she can usually be found road cycling, hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, or sea kayaking. She is also a musician and a painter; she painted many of the murals adorning the walls at Northwest Pediatric Center. Finally, she is a volunteer Puppy Raiser for Guide Dogs of America. For the past decade, the many seeing-eye dogs she has raised have doubled as pet therapists during their puppy training year at Northwest Pediatric Center.
