National Doctors’ Day

Today is National Doctors’ Day – a national day of recognition to celebrate all you do. We are grateful to each of you, for the care you provide day in and day out, for your powerful voices on behalf of kids who are too often forgotten.

We have seen you come together in unprecedented ways, especially over the last two years. That collective effort not only helped us navigate a world-wide pandemic but prioritized keeping our focus on maintaining the health of the children of Washington during difficult times.

However, this experience has not been without cost. Thank you for all of the sacrifices you have made – and continue to make – for children, teens, and families. Your commitment to support advocacy and child health advancement at WCAAP is a gift we deeply appreciate.  At WCAAP we are privileged to call you our members, colleagues, and friends. We will continue to celebrate you every day and strive to serve you and your patients in whatever ways we can.

Sincerely,

Michael Barsotti, MD, FAAP – President, WCAAP

Sarah Rafton, MSW – Executive Director, WCAAP
