Only 36% of Washington State children are screened for developmental delays. What can you as a provider do to make the screening and referral process even more integrated into your systems, and what resources can you consult?
Great MINDS is a project sponsored by the WCAAP to support Primary Care Providers across the state to improve care of families with infants and young children. The goal of this series of courses is to introduce how to integrate Universal Developmental Screening (UDS) and referrals to early intervention (EI) into workflow, increase the number of patients screened, help parents understand the importance of early intervention, and highlight key resources for families.
